For neighbours
Post a job, see who applies, pick someone nearby, and pay securely in the app.
For teens aged 13–17
Find real work close to home, build a rating, and get paid through a parent or guardian.
How it works
- A neighbour posts a job with the date, time and what it pays.
- Teens nearby are notified and can apply.
- The neighbour reviews applicants — their skills, ratings and past jobs — and chooses one.
- When the work is done, payment is made in the app.
- KidGig forwards 90% of the job amount to the teen's parent or guardian, and keeps 10% as a platform fee.
Built with safety in mind
- Accounts are for adults and for teens aged 13–17. Under-13s cannot sign up.
- Payments always go to a parent or guardian, never directly to a teen.
- Only an approximate area is shown publicly — never an address.
- Messaging stays in the app, and anyone can be reported or blocked.
